Guyana Amazon Warriors (165-6) beat St Kitts & Nevis Patriots (164-9) by four wickets.

St Kitts & Nevis Patriots, Batting first and Simmons and Lewis came to crease but Pakistani pacer Sohail Tanvir was on fire last night. He got out Simmons in his first over on the fifth ball of the over at slip to DR smith.

The Faf came to crease and try to build up partnership with lewis but lewis also got bowled by Emril. Carter also got run out cheaply and it seems like wickets follwen down in quick time.

After Most Experinced T20 Batsmen, Brad Hodge came to crease and make partnetship with Faf and in the end Thomas and Parera played their cameos and help his team to fighting total of 164.

From Warriors side Tanvir and Zampa was pick off the bowler, Tanvir took 3 wickets and Zampa also took 3 wickets and Tanvir prooved that why Warriors picked him first in the Auction.

Chase target of 165, DR Smith are on fire and it looks like he wants to finish match early he scored quick fire 62 runs in just 36 balls by hittng 5 sixes and 3 fours and Guptil also played 22 runs inning.

But it was the medium pace of Krishmar Santokie that did for Smith who tried to drive him over the covers only to hit it straight to a fielder. It was Santokie’s 50th Hero CPL wicket, the most by any bowler.

After that, Chris Lynn was run out for six by du Plessis. At this point, the squeeze was on and it took a long time for Anthony Bramble and Mohammad to get themselves set, but eventually they began to score freely and they reached the victory target but the Amazon Warriors were made to work for it.

Mohammad was there at the end and he was well supported by Tanvir.

  2. Amazing! This blog looks exactly like my old one! It’s on a totally different topic but it has pretty much
the same page layout and design. Superb choice of colors!

  3. Having found themselves a wicket down with no runs on the board there was a consolidation of sorts by the Patriots when Evin Lewis and captain Faf du Plessis put on 34 runs in decent time.
