MS Dhoni says he has no plans to quit as captain of the India limited-overs sides.
“After the Asia Cup T20 and World T20 there is the Indian Premier League. And then the team is mostly playing Test cricket and about five to six ODIs, which will be over quickly.”- by MS Dhoni at the launch of a SEVEN.
Before this in press conference he said that, “I’m 33, I’m still running, still fit. Next year, T20 World Cup, will be time to decide about 2019,” – Dhoni.
Dhoni quit as Test captain in December for giving his best in future ODI Series and after the 2016 World Twenty20.
“I’m not able to hit sixes as i do previously so that doesn’t mean that i have to retire from international cricket every shot is played on some specific ball can’t hit every ball same way. I can’t hit helicopter shot on every ball” – Dhoni
Dhoni had bad run in 2015 before ICC World Cup 2015 and after it also in bilateral ODI series against Bangladesh, South Africa and Australia.
Dhoni is most successful captain of india. He won ICC World T20 2007, ICC World Cup 2011, and ICC Champions Trophy 2013 which no one did before him.
Even if dhoni retire in nearer future then, can india find his replacement best and dangerous finisher of the world, best wicket keeper of the world in recent times and one the best “Captain Cool” for team India ?
