Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has bought four bulletproof buses as it tries to convince other teams to shed their security apprehensions and visit the country.

Pakistan have not hosted a Test match on home soil this decade, and only Zimbabwe have toured there, in March last year, since early 2009.

Attack on Sri Lanka's cricket team bus in Lahor force ICC to stop to host any international cricket match in Pakistan and that was not good for PCB.

To avoid this PCB tried to provide safety to visitor teams and for this they bought 4 bullet proof buses and they may start this by using as they think to host second edition of PSL in their home soil.

Lest see their new try to give safety will work for them or not and whether any foreign team or foreign team willing to tour to Pakistan or not in nearer future.

PCB spokesperson told Cricinfo: "We have bought these four Coaster buses as part of our efforts to revive international cricket in the country.

"There will be high expectations from teams willing to visit Pakistan and we want to ensure that we provide them with the best possible arrangements.

"Having these bulletproof vehicles would play a major part in convincing teams [about security arrangements]."

"We are actually planning to host the PSL final in Lahore (next year), but this requires us to convince overseas players to come.

"We have to have discussions with the players about their safety and security and I think this new addition in our security facilities will definitely give us an edge.

"Our ultimate goal is to revive international cricket, and we are doing our best to make sure we can."
