After appointed Anil Kumble as a Head Coach of Indian Team for 1 year, Sanjay Banger has appointed as Batting Coach of Indian team after having good run in Zimbabwe and Abhay Sharma appointed as a Fielding Coach for West Indies Tour.
So now Indian team has all Indian players as a coaching staff and it was good for new young players to get assist from them get more chance to learn from them.
As all suggested from so many years that team should have coach who was from India so no language and other problem from new players.
BCCI Stated that : “In consultation with Mr. Anil Kumble, Head Coach, Indian Cricket Team, the BCCI has appointed the following assistant coaches for the India tour of West Indies, 2016 -Assistant Coach (Batting) – Mr. Sanjay Bangar,Assistant Coach (Fielding) – Mr. Abhay Sharma,”
Men in Blue travel to the Caribbean this July for a seven week –long tour, as Kumble is called in India will be in-charge of the side for the tour.
Sanjay Banger and Abhay Sharma’s contract also expired at the same time as the former coach but BCCI extended it to the tour of Zimbabwe where Bangar and Abhay Sharma did an excellent job with the junior side.
Both the players are now retained by the Board for the tour of West Indies.
There is still bowling coach left to appoint for the team but as Kumble appointed as head coach, Indian team may not require any septate bowling coach.
Men in Blue have a long season ahead of them and they will get coaching of the expertise of Sanjay Bangar. Anil Kumble and Abhay Sharma.
