After winning the toss, Indian Captain Virat Kohli elect to bat first. But Murli Vijay got out early on the 7 runs. After Vijay, Pujara and Dhawan played watch full inning and india score 92 runs till lunch session in 27 overs.

Just after lunch bishoo came to bowl and he got out Pujara in his very first over, Pujara try to pull the short ball and it spin away and got top edge and caught at point region.

Then Virat Kohli came to crease and helped to increase the scoring rate with the Dhawan, Once Kohli came to crease Dhawan starts playing freely and playing few shots and reach to his 3rd Half century.

But just before tea Dhawan got out on 84, just missed out century by 16 runs. He played sensible and watch full inning, he played opposite to his batting style. He used 147 balls to score 84 runs and he stand on crease almost 4 hours.

After tea Rahane came to crease and cross the 200 runs mark for india with Kohli. But on score of 22 Rahane also got out but Kohli looks in great touch.

He scored a his 12th test century in 134 balls and unbeaten on 143 of 197 balls with the night watch man R Ashwin who score 22 runs in 69 balls and helps to cross 300 runs marks in first day.

As we have predicted that if India bat first then we may expect lots of runs in first inning that looks like to be true as Kohli was bated and Kohli may scored 200 in first Inning.

India were at 302/4 at end of the day in 90 overs with the rate of 3.35 runs per over.
