Diego Costa wants to leave Chelsea for Atletico Madrid, club bids 40 million pounds for him.

Chelsea striker Diego Costa has informed the London club that he wishes to leave chelsea this summer.

Former Atletico Madrid striker has been linked with a move back to Spain and it seems that Diego Simeone is keen on a reunion.

Daily Star are claiming that the Spanish giants have made their move for the striker and a 40 million pounds bid has been submitted.

Diego Costa is currently under contract with English club Chelsea where he signed a five years contract with them which was confirmed in 15th July, 2014 in spite of £32 million for a buy out clause.

There are still three years contract left with Chelsea but Costa is desperate to leave them due to he is not comfortable with them.

Atletico Madrid are determined to strengthen their side after narrowly missing out on a league title and the Champions League. Simeone’s side made it to the final of the European cup only to be beaten by Real Madrid once again.

With the likes of Griezmann and Torres already at the club, Costa’s signing would out Atletico on par with the likes of Real Madrid in terms of attacking talent.

The Chelsea star was phenomenal under Simeone during his time at Atletico Madrid and had a spectacular debut season in England as well.

It will be interesting to see if the Blues accept the big money bid from Atletico Madrid now. They have already signed Michy Batshuayi from Marseille for a fee of 33 million pounds earlier this week.

This 27 years old Spaniard has played for Chelsea 54 matches and scored 32 goals since the arriving. But now he just wants to leave them peacefully.
