Arsenal goalkeeper Petr Cech has announced his retirement from international football. He played for the Czech Republic.
He is the Czech Republic’s most capped player with 121 appearances, He made is debue back in 2002.
He retires with 124 caps, the last of them won in a 2-0 defeat to Turkey as the Czechs were eliminated from Euro 2016 with just one point from three group games.
Cech said that : “When I was a kid, my ultimate dream was to play for the national team at least once,”
“Having done it so many times makes me really proud.”

He recently play for Arsenal in Premier League. He transfered to Arsenal last Summer from Chelsea.
