Spanish court rejected a case over Neymar’s move to Barcelona

Spanish court dismissed a case of the transfer of Neymar to Spanish La Liga club Barcelona. The Complaint bought against Neymer by Brazilian investment group DIS.

DIS agreed on 40% of Neymer’s transfer from Brazilian club Santos to Barcelona in 2013, but they claimed that they receive lesser then as they agree.

In June, Barcelona paid a fine of $6.2 million to settle a separate case brought against the club by Spain’s tax authorities.

On signing Neymar in 2013, Barcelona given the price of his transfer was $74 million. So from the initial transfer fee, Brazilian club Santos received $23 million while Neymar earned $55 million.

The actual cost of Neymar’s transfer was around 100 million because of players bonus and complementary payments and it around $18.6 million. Now Brazilian club Santos wants 40% amount from players bonus also so Spanish court reject his case.

Recently, Real Madrid spent on 100 million for Gareth Bale and it was record till now and Man Utd also offer the same amount to Paul Pougba so lets see what happen.

Last week, Barcelona announced Neymar agreed to a contract extension that will keep him at the Spanish champions through 2021.
