4th edition of the Pro Kabaddi League is all set to entertain the audiences like it did in its first three seasons, the teams had a hard task of building a strong squad from the auctions.
Teams were allowed to retain a few stars but also had the opportunity to pick up other players from other teams in the auction. Like all the PKL teams, Dabang Delhi will also look to challenge for the championship.
The Delhi-based team was previously led by Ravinder Pahal and coached by Balwan Singh. The Radha Kapoor-owned team did not have the best of stats in the PKL as they finished sixth in the first season. The following season the slipped down further one spot with only four wins out of their 14 league matches.
Last season they ended the tournament at the bottom of the points table with just one win in the entire tournament.
Thyagaraj Sports Complex-based franchise has already retained two talented raiders in the form of Kashiling Adake and Selvamani K. The team would like to put up a better show in this edition of the tournament and would love to finish in the top four for the first time.
Delhi has signed some big players in this year’s auction. Young raider Bhupender Singh joined the team from U Mumba and Meraj Sheykh, bought from the Telugu Titans. Former Patna Pirates raider Deepak Narwal was also acquired by the Delhi-based team.
The Delhi-based franchise strengthen their squad by adding Sanju and Anil Kumar in the recently concluded Services Players’ draft process, aligned with the Services Sports Controlled Board (SSCB) and the Amateur Kabaddi Federation of India (AKFI).
Despite of this Delhi team looks like some start players missing in the team and we hope that new player do well for the new team under the new Captain Kashiling Adake and new coach.
Here we take a look at those players who will feature for the Dabang Delhi in the fourth edition of Pro Kabaddi League.
