This year IPL so many new things happen first two new franchise set up, after stumps with LEDs and then IPL have created a software to keep stadium fans to connect with match that they can give out or not out if any decision forward to Third Umpire.

Another new thing is Foreign Players Injury, that was because of too much cricket in short period cause now days each day has cricket match and players doesn't time to rest their self. Recently WT20 completed before IPL started , before WT20 in india Big Bash was played in january and continues international ceicket also so players need some rest. Because of this we have seen so many Injuries Issue this year.

But 2016 was the year of West Indians they are not step back from any competition and they continue dominate every tournaments. U-19 world cup after Men's and Women's World T20 and in T20 leagues like Big Bash and IPL they continue show their power performance.

JP Duminy

  • Missed Daredevils' first match as he recovered from a hamstring strain suffered during the World T20, returned for four games, then was not fit again for their match against Kolkata Knight Riders on April 30. He was back in action on May 3

Mitchell Starc

  • Retained by RCB ahead of the season, but yet to play in any format in 2016 after undergoing surgery on his problematic right ankle

  • The West Indies legspinner is out of the tournament without having played a match, courtesy a shoulder injury picked up during the World T20 final
